Tip: Excessive
sweating can
make your acne worse,
but this is not a reason to
stop exercising.
Although some believe that
the cause of acne is unknown but doctors believe it results from
several related factors.
Hormones:
the main factor is known to be the excess of male hormones
called androgen. These
increase in both boys and girls during puberty and cause the
sebaceous glands to be larger and more active. Hormonal changes
during pregnancy and starting or stopping birth control pills
can also cause acne.
Genetics:
another factor is known to be heredity or genetics. Although
researches don’t show any
meaningful relation between heredity and acne but some studies
have shown relation between kids with acne with a family history
of disorder.
Skincare products:
any product that clogs the skin pores can cause acne.
Medication side effects: acne can be the side effect of some drugs. Researches show
acne occurs in treatments with barbiturates, seizure medication
and steroids. Also iodides, bromides and lithium are reported to
cause acne as a side effect
Tip:If you use more acne
medication than directed
by your doctor you can actually worsen
your
acne.
